Temple Lodge

A very friendly Lodge that enjoys a reputation for its hospitality to visitors and its remote members. The membership works well because we come from different backgrounds and places (e.g. North-Rotherham, Northants; East-Kent and London -N, E, S, W).

We are proud of our high standard of ritual in the Temple and of our lively, cosy, well-fed festive boards. In addition to our formal meetings and Lodge of Instruction sessions, we enjoy meeting for informal social activities, usually 3 times a year plus a formal ladies’ weekend most years and more recently we have started a summer BBQ. We celebrated our 200th anniversary in 2013.

We have a wide active member age profile ranging from 92 to 31 (average 60) and we are keen to build on our keen, newer, younger masons who we actively support.
